Designer Michael Leyva bares gown he made for Miss Universe PH Celeste Cortesi

Filipino designer Michael Leyva on Sunday shared a photo of the sky blue gown he made for Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi.

His post came after Celeste fell short to become part of Miss Universe 2022 semifinalists.

Michael also took this opportunity to express gratitude to Celeste for representing the country.

“You’re still our Miss Universe. Thank you for making us all proud,” he wrote in a post accompanied by a video of Celeste fitting the gown.

During the preliminaries of the 71st Miss Universe, Celeste donned a sky-blue gown by another Filipino designer Oliver Tolentino.

This sky-blue gown references the meaning of her name.
